Greenlit
The system

Built to hold up under scrutiny

Official government sources, daily updates, graded match confidence and data minimization by design. Here's exactly what happens when you hit screen.

Official sources

The EU consolidated list, OFAC SDN (US) and UK OFSI — together over 45,000 records — plus open news media.

Daily updates

The lists are fetched automatically every day, straight from the authorities’ own publications. No middleman.

Graded match confidence

Every hit is marked exact, strong or partial — with program, listing date, reason and aliases disclosed.

Data minimization

We don’t store your customer lists or searches. Screening happens on demand. A data processing agreement is signed when needed.

API & white-label

Put the check straight into your onboarding, or run a version with your own logo for your customers.

Archivable evidence

A timestamped report with a reference number and coverage statement — built to be shown under supervision.

Coverage

What's included — and what isn't

We declare the coverage in every report. A tool that pretends to cover more than it does is more dangerous than no tool at all.

FAQ

What you usually ask

Which sources are used?

The EU consolidated sanctions list, OFAC SDN (US) and the UK OFSI list, plus open news media for adverse media coverage. Together over 45,000 records. Every report states exactly which lists were checked and how many records they contained at the time.

How often are the lists updated?

The lists are fetched and updated automatically every day from each official government source. The report timestamp shows when the check was actually run.

How accurate is the matching?

Every hit is graded as exact, strong or partial and reported with program, listing date, reason and aliases. Partial hits are flagged for manual verification — name similarity is not a confirmed match, and we never present it as one.

Do you store our customer data?

No. Screening happens on demand and we store neither your customer lists nor your searches. Data minimization by design. A data processing agreement (DPA) is signed with the customer when needed.

Is this the entire KYC process?

No — Greenlit automates the sanctions and media check, which is a core part of customer due diligence. PEP (politically exposed persons), ultimate beneficial owner (UBO) and ID verification are not included in this version and are on the roadmap. Every report openly declares what was and was not included.

Can it be integrated into our systems?

Yes. The screening is also available as an API and can be embedded in your onboarding, as well as white-labeled with your logo for your own customers.

Does the report hold up under regulatory supervision?

The report is timestamped, traceable evidence that the check was run, against which sources and with what result. It is screening support — the final assessment and decision are always yours.
